After looking at some very expensive steering stabilizers, to replace the non-functioning stock one on my E450-based motorhome, I ordered this Monroe stabilizer. I also ordered the rubber boot that goes with it, which you can find on Amazon as well.I installed it (very simple to install) and torqued the bolts to the specs they provided, and a few days later took a trip out to Joshua Tree National Park. The difference was night and day! I could drive with just one hand on the wheel, and when I went over bumps or joints in the pavement my wheels didn't jerk like they did before. It's a direct replacement for an E450 and E350, and I'm sure it fits many other vehicles as well. But I highly recommend getting the rubber boot when you purchase it. In fact that's why my other one failed, because of corrosion that formed on the rod from being constantly exposed to salt air. It created pitting which caused the seals to fail.So I wouldn't hesitate to buy this again, and I highly recommend it. It's a fantastic value, especially compared to all the high-priced self centering stabilizers, which frankly I don't think are necessary, and may even put too much stress on power steering pumps (just my opinion).

My class C motor home was driving poorly so I replaced the original steering damper with this one. Huge difference in handling. Two bolts in and out and on the road again. Definitely worth the price.

Identical to the one that failed on my 2005 F-350 super duty service truck. My truck developed a violent shimmy almost instantly, and of course I suspected something major, but decided to try replacing this part first, as I figured it was probably due, and was cheap enough that nothing would be lost if it did not cure the problem. It worked, and my ride returned to normal, amazing that part has such an effect!Reasonable price and OEM quality.

Bought this to replace a new Bilstein that caused my Motorhome to pull and brake left. Fixed it. It does not come with the dust boot.

I installed this on my ford E450 class C motorhome. Install was straight forward except for the mounting bolt on passenger side. The center link(rod in the tie rod assembly) Is directly in back of the bolt so you can’t drop the stabilizer.🤬I had to remove the bracket that is attached to the chassis🤦ðŸ»â€â™‚ï¸. Not the end of the world, but tack on another 30 minutes. Took an hour and a half from removal of old and installation of the new. Tightens up the steering nicely. Well worth the price if you’re decent at turning wrenches. P.S. a shock boot will protect the exposed shaft and looks 😎cool. Boot sold separately.

Everything is good aside from it didn't fit my truck like it said it would. So I will return it and get another one that will.
