We found this part to be much superior to the part number that fits our 2wd 2000 ford excursion, a bracket did have to be modified but for 15 more minutes and years of comfortable driving it is worth it

Install was easy, I’ve had it on for over a month and still working. Made sure I changed out all my front end suspension parts with it otherwise you’ll just end up putting strain on the new one.

I haven t fitted yet. I used KYB as a previous replace and it has leaked oil because of my mounting failure. And then i didn t find same so i bought monroe. Monroe made in USA. Looking has a good quality/I hope to fit perfectly.

First time trying Monroe. Bought a boot for the first time (+$7), so we'll see how long it lasts. Previous damper was a Rancho--only lasted 2 years, but it didn't have a boot.

Old Dodge truck was diagnosed as needing this part after experiencing a power wobble set off after a rail crossing. It fit into place as expected and works as well as the original part did when new.
