Nice Scope mount for a 10/22. I like that they give you the ability to use the iron sites. The included weaver rail the rifle comes with blocks the use of the iron sites. these mounts restore the use of the iron sights. Recommend.

Added the Monstrum see-through scope rings to a Ruger 10/22. Easy to install, perfect fit and the iron sights are easy to see through the opening under the scope.One note: before installing I contacted Monstrum about using Loc-tite. They said it shouldn’t be necessary. I put about 35 rds through and the screws loosened significantly. I added some Loc-tite gel and remounted. I haven’t shot since, but it’s a solid connection.The rings are solid, well-constructed and I like the way they look on my rifle. The best part is I can still use the iron sights. Exactly what I wanted and expected when I ordered these.100% satisfaction. Definitely recommend.

The rings are very well made and appear they would hold a scope on a Ruger 10/22 properly. However, the mounting screws sent with the rings are too long to be used on a Ruger 10/22. Even used with the small flat washers provided, the screws still protrude into the receiver cavity too far, which does not allow the bolt to cycle. I estimate the shank on the screws provided, should be about half the length they are. It appears from the numerous unfavorable reviews about this product I've read, the company should be well aware of this problem by now and scrambling to correct this deficiency. However, I have not seen one review, so far, where a consumer has said the company has corrected the problem. If they correct this problem for me in a timely manner, I will post an update to this review. If not, I will be returning these Monstrum Tactical.Com scope rings.UPDATE: I contacted Monstrum Tactical about the problem with trying to mount the scope rings to a Ruger 10/22 and was advised they would send out replacements immediately. It only took a few days to receive an envelope from them. Upon opening it, I discovered they had not sent replacement screws, but 10 additional small flat washers. Using those washers and 2 of the ones from the original package hardware, I was able to place three washers under each screw, which allowed the rings to mount securely without protruding into the receiver. This allowed the bolt to move freely and solved the problem. I have changed my rating from 1 star to 4 stars, rather than 5, as Monstrum Tactical did send out additional hardware, but I had to contact them for corrective action. I feel they should have been aware of the problem for quite a while, with several negative past reviews, yet it appears they did not take steps to correct the problem with recent orders. All in all, if they supply the correct mounting hardware with the rings, I think they have a very well made product, deserving of 5 stars, which also allows the use of the 10/22 open rifle sights.

All around great product for directly mounting the scope rings to the Ruger 10/22 rifle. The included screws do interfere with the bolt action when used only with the included flat washers. To fix this I used one #6 size, medium split, bronze plated steel, lock washer with the included flat washer for each screw and spacing was perfect. No interference with the bolt. I found these lock washers at the local Menard's store in a package of 3 for $0.34 per package, so probably available at any hardware store.Lock Washer Brand: Midwest FastenerPart #: 81232Inner diameter: 0.141" - 0.148"Outer Diameter: 0.25"
