Bought this to replace a cheap alternative part. A few years ago I replaced my suspension parts on my Ranger. At the time the Moog bellows were not available, so I got what was available. The cheap alternative part didn't last long and in return caused the deterioration of my inner tie-rods. This was an expensive repair which cascaded into other replaced parts. Hope these will last longer than the cheap ones! Moog has a good reputation so...time will tell.

Nice replacement bellow. I rebuilt my vehicles front suspension. So naturally I went ahead and changed the bellows!Like most people I'm not a fan of the zip ties. I purchased some metal hose clamps as substitutes and they work great!Hose clamp diameters sizes I used:- Larger diameter: 3½" (~ 90mm)- Small diameter: ¾" (~ 20mm)Vehicle: 2000 Ford Ranger XL "Trail Head" Edition w/ Torsion Suspension

Nothing wrong with the boot, but if you've done a 4WD Ranger's inner tie rods and boots, MAN are they tough to put on. I ended up giving up and having a shop put the zip tie on for me. Almost as annoying is the hardline that goes from boot to boot on the rack. Wow.

This part is by far better quality than others I have seen. Bite the bullet and pay the extra couple of bucks and get these. You won't be sorry. The rubber is thicker than the rest and still very flexible. Seems to hole their shape and installation is as easy as any of the other ones without the worry of tearing cheap plastic or rubber.

I used this to replace a split boot on my 2000 Ford Ranger. My boot was split and leaking grease onto the ground. The most difficult part about this was separating my outer tie rod from the jam nut, once that was free, I removed the old boot and put the new one on. I would recommend attaching the inner zip tie(larger one) before installing the boot, also face the zip tie down to ensure access to tighten it. This allowed me an easy replacement. I would set aside an hour for each side of the rack if you have a properly equipped tool box. All in all, highly recommend but will update later, the previous Bellows lasted 12 years without issue, lets see how long these Bellows last.

Install was tight on a 2005 Sport Trac 4x4, but the parts were great, complete and work as expected.

Perfect fit on 1997 Explorer. Initially had trouble sliding it over the steering rack, it kept collapsing and going inside the rack. Thought it was the boots fault, then realized the small vent tube was resting against the rack snd pushing the boot inside. Pried the vent away and the boot practically installed itself.
