We used this as a foundational layer when traveling with our chihuahua under the area she was staying in to protect the carpet from any accidents. She did have a small accident on it and there was NO leakage at all. The bottom was bone dry. Machine washed and dried perfectly fine. Great for the cost.

I bought this to protect against accidents from elderly cat (pee and/or vomit). The first thing I did when I took it out of the package was to verify it was waterproof, because otherwise it's worthless to me. So, I put it on the kitchen floor, put a small cardboard box under it which would easily show if leaks went through, and poured a small bowl of water (2 - 3 ounces) onto the cover. I waited about 10 minutes or so, and expected the worst when I saw how the water soaked in and spread out. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I lifted it and saw that there was NO leakage! The cardboard was still bone dry, as was, of course, the bottom layer of the Moonsea cover.I washed it in cold water, dried on low-heat setting with NO fabric softener in either washer or dryer. No chlorine bleach in washer, either. I have washable pee pads that give those instructions to keep them working longest - fabric softener might negatively affect its ability to absorb liquids. It dried just fine. I do have 3 tennis balls I keep in the dryer to help things dry better (helps fluff them).We'll see how it stands up with time and use, but so far, I'm quite happy with it. It passed the initial test of water-proofness, which another brand did NOT.Pros:Really IS waterproof!Looks and feels nice.Doesn't make a lot of noise.Easy to wash and dry.Cons:Not very non-slip, but minor concern given my intended usage of it.Feels thin, but it's still effective.

I won’t write a review on a product until I have actually had an opportunity to use it and see it’s dependability.We have an elderly dog who loses continence when sleeping. She’s old, so she sleeps a lot. You get the picture.Paper/disposable pads weren’t working. Doggy diapers were awful (just left her fur all wet).These large blankets are big enough to cover the area she stays in. It would easily cover a couch.They really are waterproof. You could put a pint or more of water on this and it’ll soak in but not through. It takes a bit to soak in, but after that it’s only damp to the touch. No “runoffâ€. (Although ours are on the flat floor, not a couch or chair)And they wash up well. Ours have taken a beating. I put them through the sanitize cycle every time. Dry on medium or low. They’re still as absorbent as when we got them. No gaps in coverage or breakthrough.Been using them for a month, cycling through 3 of them in the wash every 2 days.So glad we found these!

I bought 10 of these after trying 2. My dog can’t control her pee and these protects our bed and does not leak.

Not waterproof. When the cat peed on it, it went right through. It is however water-RESISTANT to set expectations. Otherwise nice blanket and useful for protecting the bed/couches from muddy paws when the dogs come inside.

Muy buen producto. El color, acabado, textura y grosor me dejó muy satisfecho (que hasta pediré otra pronto). Me llegó en tiempo y forma. Me llegó en un excelente empaquetado, la manta viene en una bolsa de plástico presurizada, en doble caja de cartón y hasta con su hermosa tarjeta de tamaños para nuestras mascotas. El color café sube de precio, a diferencia de la de color gris. El tamaño que adquirà es para cama individual, previamente me cercioré de las dimensiones para asà ordenarla, y asà fue como llegó. Contras: las bolitas de la parte posterior no se sujetan tan bien a la cama, por lo que se desliza con facilidad. Es sensible a la limpieza, ya que se le desprenden pequeños hilos delgados, pero nada de que preocuparse. Se puede limpiar con facilidad mediante una aspiradora. Faltará ver cómo le va en la lavada. De momento, la recomiendo ampliamente.
