I’m hoping the glue stays because this product is amazing. I installed it at my sliding glass door which needs replacing and has quite a draft. I was looking for something to use for the winter until we can replace the door. This weatherstripping is so fantastic I may just keep the door. It was a little hard to peel off the backing, but as soon as it was done - wow. NO draft. I cut it in 24 inch sections to install so it would be straight. Today it is 19 degrees Fahrenheit and I think I installed this just in time!

The peel off strip did not peel off as described. It unfortunately rendered the product useless. The concept looks great, but unfortunately, without the ability to stick to the windows sash, its not very functional.

I'd give it 5 stars except for the fact that the thin piece of tape you must remove in order to adhere the product to your sills is almost impossible to remove. Other than that, it is a great product. Wish there was a bit more included as to do one standard window in it's entirety requires at least 2 packages of the product and it's not that cheap. I've done the bottom half of two windows and I have one package out of three left. I'll be ordering some more but sure don't look forward to removing the strip of tape in order to use.

Really great product does a great job insulating drafts between my window and window sash. However- I can’t imagine that the adhesive will remove easily or fully when I try to take the strips off on the spring. The adhesive is very aggressive so I would never put it on a wall or painted surface. My windows frames are coated metal (not wood), so hoping I will be able to scrape them off if necessary. And, because the adhesive is do aggressive, the backing that you have to peel to install is MISERABLE to remove. I spent several frustrating minutes a strip trying to separate the backing from the sticky adhesive. Every time, I ended up removing some of the adhesive with the backing especially at the end I started from, which will be in a corner of my window so a vital area where I need a tight fit. I kept wondering if these sat in a hot warehouse for a very long time, causing the adhesive to breakdown and melt to the backing.

I’ve ordered these multiple times and they are usually great!!! They keep the cold air out, are easy to apply and stay where you put them. Unfortunately the last batch I ordered I could not for the life of me get the paper off the sticky part. So they are basically useless. I have tried cutting, scrapping folding, cooling, warming up. No matter what the paper will not come off.

This immediately made a difference in my house. There was a constant breeze coming through on an old door in my livingroom. My electric bill was insane. As soon as I put this where the door doors connect the breeze was blocked. The door still opens to let the dog out as well. Great product for the price.

My house I am renting. Vancouver b.c. 1700 3 bedroom huge back yard pre covid prices 4 now. Soon to be 3k for this dump. Every door frame has a huge gap. Twisted house, so nothing even. I started singing this 70% cut sound, do both sides j sweat could probably reach 85/90%. Started renting out bedrooms so added to mine. Amazing. Did about a 85% of door on one side with 2 orders... so ot would take 3 orders to complete one side or 5 for double side of door. Even try war movies and 80% of one side made it hard to hear in other bedrooms. I also got the 2 for one door steip off amazon. Works amazing even for re-sticking because of mess ups. In the future if it comes loos il add screws or silicon for extra durability. For now it seams too hold and is worth the money. Buy lots you wonder regret it, seriously.
