Installation Tips:
1. When the lamp is plugged into the controller, be sure to find the socket of the corresponding serial number
2. The controller and sensor can be in the electric box
3. Be sure to connect the positive and negative poles, the red is the positive, the blue is the negative, and the low-voltage current is DC12-24V, not AC220V/AC110V
4. It is recommended to bury the line in advance and install the lights when the stairs are decorated.
5. The wiring needs to be disconnected, and the wiring cannot be plugged in to avoid short circuit.

Very nice little unit but I have an issue with the way it operates. It has two motion detectors one for each side of the stairs. When the first one gets triggered it produces really smooth and nice running steps lights effect that fades out just as smoothly when you pass the stairs, but here is where the problem starts once you pass the second sensor on your way out it immediately triggers running lights wave that goes the opposite direction. Which doesn't make any sense, the second sensor trigger should not produce the opposite effect until the first cycle has been completed. I tested all five different speeds and walked back and forth and the same thing kept happening. I am glad that I tested it before installing it, this one is not for me. Motion detectors looks pretty cool but it's big 1inch diameter and beam is very narrow and if you place it on the side of the first step it will not trigger lights on time you will have to stop in front of your steps. You might want to mount it on the Riser of the steps. These are the reasons I gave it 3 stars only.

This is only the controler with the sensors, you need to buy the led stripes, wires and 12v power supply seperatly! Easy to install and program if you have knowledge in electronics. Once installed it is very cool, but a liitle expensive because it is not a complete kit…

completed project for a customer but In my opinion price should be little bit cheaper for this type of controller. But in general working for couple month without issues

I am extremely pleased with how versatile this controller is. I was impressed with the smoothness of dimming and reliable motion detection, but I also appreciate how customizable it is: the number of steps, how quickly it fades, in what order, and what happens to turn them off. My son was able to install it easily and now my basement stairs aren't so dark. Highly recommended.
