Now that I’ve had these for a few months, I thought I’d give my honest opinion. These lights are absolutely fantastic!! I live in a 3 story townhome and the hallway has always been a bit dark. Not anymore. As far as installation goes, my husband did the install and said it was pretty straight forward. The company did a great job making sure to give you everything you need and enough product to make it all work. They did not cheap out. I love that the lights have made the stairs more safe but they also have a look of modern sophistication and elegance. The lights have multiple settings for brightness and for the way they can illuminate. They can cascade or come on all at once. I absolutely recommend these! Do not think about it anymore, purchase them! You will not regret it!! **One side note I will add is I did buy the led strip light mounting kit for a more finished look.

I thought it was defective at the beginning but then realize it was the two wires at the end touching each other.It works great as a basic stair lighting kit (simple on/off with no pattern). Wish it could be longer since most stairs are 36" or 48" but this is only 20" long. And I wish there is ability to drill a smaller hole and just fish the wire though.

My old basement is very dark and dangerous, I have been avoiding doing laundry or going in the basement at night for safety reasons. We recently decided to repair and update the basement and the first thing we added were these lights for safety reasons. We are very happy we chose the RWOFNIA Motion Sensor stair lighting kit, The lights are something I never really thought of but it was a great choice, the lights works both going down the stairs and up making it easy to see where we are stepping at night, it lights are bright enough to see where we are going but not too bright to distort vision. I love how they come on on their own when motion is detected, leaving my hands free to bring laundry in and out of the basement. I am sure these lights increases the value of my home.

I installed these on our basement stairs before finishing the basement. The installation is straight-forward, but make sure you plan it out and take your time. There is a lot of wiring and you will need access to the bottom of the stairs.The instructions are good and the installed product looks great, and if you are careful, very professional.I would really like to install these on out main staircase, but I don't have the access that I do like the basement stairs.Light output is adjustable (but not the color temperature). There are also adjustments for delay and you can set the motion detector to come on all the time, or only when it's dark (I like to have them come on regardless of ambient light level).Great addition to your lighting scheme!

Product does not need batteries. It functions as advertised. Installation was challenging for an over the surface lighting system. The length of the light strips seemed longer on the add. The brightness is adjustable and sufficient for its intended purpose. The light strips have been attached to rough wooden surfaces and appear to be holding. Over all quality is acceptable. Will not return due to the fact that it’s already installed.The length between each light strip are not consistent and are too short.The control box connectors for input and output power had to be respliced, due to poor assembly at manufacturing. They were not solid connections and caused intermittent operation. After replicing the connectors, product controller worked fine. If you attempt to do the repair yourself, just be sure to wire the leads the same way you took them apart.Overall, satisfied with the product but not the aesthetic quality of it. Need to find a way to conceal the excess wiring.

Its a pretty well thought out system, and easy enough to install. I didn't want the controller unit as a wall wart so I installed it under my steps, and decided to go with just the light trigger function for now (can always try the motion sensors later) so the lights just go on at dusk and dimmed, and so far so good. Power drain is minimal. Stair access is the key to how easy your install will be. Anyways, they look really nice and light up the stairs well. Was no fun drilling the steps and getting them in and connected, but worth it as long as they last a good while. Just drill as high up as you can with a long bit and the holes don't have to be large, just big enough to get the little connector through.
