While we recommend the use of our rugged and durable VIPER Midnight and V3 winches for optimal fit and performance, our VIPER winch mounts can be used with most brands of winches that have standard and wide bolt patterns.

This product made installation of a 4500 lbs. winch on my 2015 Ranger ETX a breeze. The fit was perfect and everything aligned with no modifications at all. I was able to perform all the work by myself but I would recommend you get some help to lift the bumper, mount and winch back into position as it is heavy. Great product and I highly recommend.

The mount fit perfectly. My Polaris Ranger 500 EFI has a brush guard on the front that pivots forward to gain access to under the hood. I also bought the Superwinch Terra 35,. The combination of mount, winch bolted to mount, and a separate bracket that attached to the mount to hold the roller fairlead(the bracket was necessary to transition from the mounting plate bolt pattern to the smaller length of the roller fairlead) placed the fairlead out in front of the brush guard. Now the brush guard will not pivot forward enough to get the hood fully opened. The pins in the hood will have to be removed to make the front end fully accessible for maintenance. Plus the tightness of the bracket to fairlead mounting bracket to the fairlead in terms of space was a real knuckle buster to solve. The kit did not come with enough bolts or nuts to do the job, and I had to supplement some to make it all work. The winch seems to work great, but it will be a pain to remove the hood....not sure why the mounting bracket was made so wide between hole centers whereby the interim bracket for the fairlead was required.....other than that painful exercise, it works.

Adapted this winch mount with a Polaris Sportsman 700 hitch receiver to make a bolt-on front hitch receiver for a 2016 Polaris 570 Ranger. It worked perfectly and only required drilling 4 holes in the winch mount to attach the hitch receiver accessory. I wasted $130 on a Polaris dealer accessory (Polaris Ranger 900 model) and the fit / configuration wasn't even close. In short, there is no front hitch receiver accessory made by anybody for a 2016 Polaris 570 Ranger. This product met / exceeded my expectations in every detail!

Winch mount worked great for about one week. The adapter plate for the fair lead weakens it quite a bit. The tabs for the fair lead have bent. I just ordered a heavy duty winch mount to solve this problem.

One edge rubbed on the radiator. Ground edge back about .050 just to maintain some clearance off the cooling system. Also planned on larger UTV winch, but that didn't fit this mounting bracket. Switched to 3500 lb winch and that worked with just enough clearance. I suppose this fit issue could be my Ranger 570, but it was brand new so it didn't have any bent bumper mounts or anything like that. If something was tweaked, it was like that from the factory. It made light contact with the plastic end of the radiator, and I preferred to alter the bracket slightly rather than risk a coolant leak. Other than that the Bracket was pretty simple to install.

It needs to be made of heavier steel. The point where the rollers mount, bent down the first time I used it to lift my snow plow. I had to make and weld a gusset to keep it from bending.

Very well made and fit perfectly. Was a little difficult to install and the instructions were kind of vague but it bolted right up once you figure it out
