I found a YouTube video. I watched the a1auto video. I said heck no I'm not doing all that. On an xj you just crack the clamshell and the security hex is right in your teeth. Il let my mechanic tackle this. Looks quality, very stout!

Old key works in new lock. Waste of time to install this new lock. Wish I had checked the keys first.
