The keys are different frequencies that means their guts don’t works with honda accord 8 gen “unprogramable†the switch conector is different that means you can’t buy this to fix any start issue, I had to use the old one . This is just a new drum key and couple keys what make the duty to release the steering wheel lock and Move the latch for your original start contactor And does not block the key so as not to allow it take out unless he is in parking that means you can get out the key in any stick shift a little dangerous.

The only thing that was different was the egnition switch plug in on the unit. But I just switched over the egnition switch and immobilizer and it worked perfect. On my 2008 Honda accord. You also need to take the transponder chip and guts out of the old key and put it in the new key and it will turn over fine.

JUST SO EVERYONE KNOWS THE KEYS THAT COME WITH THIS AREN'T ID46they are the 433mhz ones -- ID46 keys are 313mhz
