This tap was a piece of crap as was the second tap that broke without any tension on it. It is obviously Chinese and looks to be made from powdered metal.I can understand when you might get one bad tap, but when the second one broke in the same place this is a trend. I didn't even try the third tap I just threw it in the trash.

Tool gets very hard to turn when using in steel It's more of a maintenance tool than a cutting tool. look elsewhere if you are cutting new threads in steel.
