I've been looking for a replacement part for this meat slicer for YEARS! The gear is broken and it sounded horrible and loud! The gears would slip! I would cry!This gear has brought my meat slicer back to life! No more cutting frozen-solid meat for me! ... and even if I do, I have a spare gear if it breaks again!It was very easy to repair... There were three screws to remove the plate, the old gear pops right out. Pull the metal axle out of the back and put it in the new gear, slap it in, replace the plate and the screws.Easy Peasy!
