It might be how I'm using it but even after using a wrench it wants to slide off the stud. If I use inward pressure when sliding that hammer I can get it to stay on but I don't know if that is defeating the slide hammer purpose.

I haven’t tried it yet but it only accommodate 2 mm or 2.5 mm pins, it would be good if would work on larger pins
