Life in the small town, my original sensor failed in an 18 yr old truck. Bought a cheap parts store replacement that started giving bad readings after just a few weeks, had to replace with a factory Motorcraft to get truck back to normal.

What can you say? As Ford has always had a problem with using aftermarket sensors etc. They usually only like Ford products. And this is one. I do believe it's because OEM Ford uses gold plate on their contacts compared to stainless steel on cheaper versions. Hence the reason for the quality

OEM quality MAP sensor. My old aftermarket generic MAP sensor failed (bought the truck like that) after I cleaned the MAP port on my 6.0 Powerstroke Diesel.Fast shipping, I installed the new OEM MAP sensor with a new 1/4" vacuum hose, runs great with no pesky P0237 error code.
