Working good on a 2004 Mercury Grand Marquis.I used a 1 1/16 inch open end wrench to disconnect the metal pipe from the EGR. 27mm open end wrench should work too. It's a 10 minutes or less repair job. Gasket and bolts are included, and they are attached to the EGR valve assembly. Very expensive. Made in Mexico.

I bought this Motorcraft egr valve back in December 2024 it was just as described new, and best of all it got rid of my check engine light. its worth it.. like they say you pay for what you get.

Fit my 2006 mercury Grand Marquis. The previous valve had developed a leak in the diaphragm causing a vacuum leak. This fixed that.

It arrived looked good went to plug in the electrical and realized it was cracked which is in a crazy big deal still does the job just sucks but other than that good stuff

Used in 05 Lincoln Town Car. My mechanic told me to come over and he would install it in 5 minutes which he did! Trick was to have a 27mm open ended wrench with a long handle to take the bolt off that goes to the exhaust system. Finished, started the engine, but the yellow light stayed on till he reset it with his electronic device. Drove it 30 miles to get home and watched my mileage go to 28mpg @70mph (up 4mpg from when the yellow check engine light was on). I cant believe how important the EGR valve is to the efficacy of the engine. I always buy Motorcraft parts for this vehicle and it pays off in performance and reliability.

This part is correct part for my 2006 crown Vic police car. I went on the ford website put my vin number in and cross over to this part number.. Make sure you get right part for today cars or car will run like shit and waste money.. Ford is motorcraft and Chevy delco and Chrysler is junk sorry .. Change egr valve no more check engine light
