I have three of them. I just dropped one in the driveway and broke it. It has worked well but I have to grip in from the sides of my iPad. It hasn’t ever slipped out but I am concerned that it might happen. I ended up ordering a different brand as a replacement. I still have two others I use. One holds my iPad horizontally and that works well. I have used the third one to hold a vocal harmony pedal. It stayed on there just fine.

Ok,When I first ordered this device holder I wasn't quite sure what to expect. What I received more than met my expectations however. First off, the quality. Yes, it is plastic but it's not a cheap, brittle plastic by any means. More like a polymer used or a handgun. It is very strong and rock solid. Now, I ordered this over a year ago and I'm just now doing my review because I wanted to see how well the device would hold up over time. Mainly to see if the rotation points would wear out or if the connection points and screws would become loose and not able to be tightened all the way (like I've had happen with other brands) which then leaves a device that just flops downward and you that you can't view well. So now, after over a years time of use, I an say emphatically that this little mount is still working perfectly just like the day I received it. On top of that, my daughter liked it so much she recently took it back to college to use on her weekly radio show that she hosts and I can report back from her that it's working just as well for her as it did for me and in that environment, that's saying something. Ok, there are only 2 things to be aware of and they're not anything bad in my opinion. The first one is device size. I can't speak for Android devices since I don't use them but I can say that, when used with my iphone 9, X, and now 11Pro, they all fit perfectly and were clamped in soundly. However, I have used it with my iPad 6th gen and to do so I had to remove the ipad's protective case. It was just a bit too large with it on to fit snugly. With it off, it would clamp in just like my iPhone however, I'm not one to use my iPad without a case so I generally opted to only use my iPhone in the mount. So that's one. The other thing to be aware of is the size of mic pole it will clamp on to. It will NOT fit on the larger 22.5mm-23mm poles. It is made for the smaller extension poles that are around 15mm in size. So make sure that you have a pole of that size available to clamp the mount onto and you'll be good to go. I unfortunately didn't get any pics just before my daughter took it with her however I have attached a one from when I first got it and what I'm holding is a little foam rubber pad that you can add inside of the mount where it grabs the mic pole so as not to scratch the finish. Then there's also a pic from a few months back after being used regularly. Hard to tell from the photo but, it's in the exact same condition as the day I got it, perfect. Bottom line, if you need a solid mount to clamp an iPhone or Android device onto a mic stand or similar sized pole, this is the one to get!!!

I use this to support my 10 inch tablet while I play mandolin. Works great, and a great price. It is not rock solid but vibration is manageable. Caveats are that the clamp works best on a horizontal support because the tablet cannot be tilted as far when the holder is attached to a vertical support. The clamp does not open wide enough for a large diameter support, which I have on some music stands. The holder opens wide enough for my tablet in portrait orientation, but not in landscape orientation. It is all plastic, but lots of it - it is more bulky than other holders but is lighter in weight, I am guessing. I leave it on my mic stand for transportation. My mic stand does not have a boom - I modified it by adding a horizontal cross-piece for the holder. It suits my need perfectly. I can't say if it will last as it is new for me at this time.

This is well designed and made. Little pads protect the iPad and the grips are angled to hold it without putting pressure on the iPad. Connects easily to my mic stand. inexpensive too. I am happy with this purchase.

As a professional musician I seldom use a iPad for live performances, with the exception of an acoustic duo my wife and I do mostly at wineries. Between our four different bands we have about 340 active songs in rotation so my wife uses an iPad and OnSong for lyrics. I really can’t blame her for not remembering all those lyrics. We play everything from club gigs to huge outdoor amphiteathers so we need good solid gear (and backups) that can survive being on the road. As you can see in the pictures above, we have used other iPad holders. The far left is the one has been the one we have been using for years. It made specifically for the iPad, third generation I believe. The far right is a Proline unit we bought as a backup. The Proline unit has the ability to go from Portrait to Landscape format while the iPad specific unit does not. The Proline unit is also very heavy duty….and very heavy. The new Moukey unit in the middle picture costs about a third of the Proline unit and offers many more options compared to the other two. First off you can use in Portrait to Landscape modes, it’s very light weight and can hold anything from an iPhone to a Kindle to an iPad or whatever tablet you might be using. It’s also small enough to put in your gear bag, glove compartment of your car or in your guitar gig bag. And while it’s plastic it seems very sturdy and well built. Time will tell how long the product will hold up in live performance but you really can’t wrong at the current price. I may even buy a few spares as backups.

I wanted to like this because of the low price point, but it just could not function the way I needed it to. I need it to hold an iPad as close to eye level as possible and angled toward me. (For standing voiceover work). While it allowed me to swing the arm to the side, I could not rotate the ball sufficiently to have the iPad face me. So the only option was to install it below the mic, requiring me to have to look down while reading scripts.

I was hoping this would work for my cross stitch and it did! I attached the holder to my floor model Ottlite light/magnifying stand. It fit perfectly on the metal stand and holds either my iPad or phone. I just took a pic of my pattern and then I was able to enlarge the area to work from. I no longer have to constantly pick up the paper pattern, find my place and then put it back down. Super helpful!

Le produit semble solide, le verrouillage des articulations est efficace et il tient bien ma tablette dans n'importe quelle position car le système élastique de serrage de la tablette est puissant. Très bon produit, je recommande.
