This is a very solid, heavy, well made and high quality cast iron griddle. It's not large, just about the right size for a couple. It would fit well on a single large gas burner.The griddle was not pre-seasoned - I don't see it claiming to be in the description, so I didn't take any stars off - and I know my grandmother's generation scoffed at "pre-seasoned" cast iron, so she would have preferred it this way. Of course I never knew my grandmother to buy anything cast iron, because she had an entire array she'd bought decades ago - and this griddle is similar to one she had - and we all know good cast iron lasts a lifetime.I think this griddle will too, if you season and care for it well, as cast iron should be cared for. It's a process and if you don't know how to do it, look it up.Five stars and I absolutely recommend.

I used this 3 or 4 times on the stove.It is rather small , could barely fit two small steaks on it.It is also very hard to clean. I let it soak for 30 minutes and it ended up rusting. Throwing it in the garbage

The 10 inch square griddle/grill is perfect for a stove top burner or inside an air fryer toaster oven. It is a thick cast iron so it will, of course, handle high heat. But the surface is not smooth like my Wagner cast iron frying pans. I am seasoning it now and will use it soon to air fry some steaks. I will let you know with an update how that works and especially how easy, or not, it is to clean, considering the rough, actually, sort of porous looking, texture of the surface of the griddle/grill.

Within minutes of heating this up the first time, it cracked about an inch, starting at the edge. Thankfully I was able to return it.
