…that require a bit more strength and security than what other hardware means could provide. These are pretty heavy duty. I don’t think I will have any issues with their constitution over the years. They seem pretty hardy and durable. Well made.

Easy install, very sturdy, heavy duty, perfect for projector. Placement was directly on 2x4s no drywall anchors were required for this install.

I needed to extend a projector screen to the outside of a set of modular wire cube shelving and this just -exactly- fits the bill! I'm a little surprised at how well everything measured. I think it's because my cube shelving is actually made to fit 11" cubes rather than 12" or 13" cubes. I briefly debated also using these as L-brackets to hold up a shelf, but have decided against it for now because I don't want to put too much weight on these. They will already be holding a heavy screen!I didn't really have any problems with installing this, although I did worry a fair bit about nicking a wire in the wall because these screws were so insanely huge. I get why they are, the brackets are heavy even without holding a screen, but still! Having a stud finder also made the process of installing these much easier. In fact, the instructions outright say to use a stud finder and anchor this in a stud, so be ready for that. You will also need to pre-drill holes into the studs with a 3/8" drill bit. The anchors included with this are NOT drywall anchors but, rather, concrete/brick anchors. This cannot be anchored in drywall!There are detailed instructions for both wall and ceiling installation.After my screen gets here, if I run into any problems, I'll update this review. In the meantime, so far, so good!! I love the white color!

Rather than mounting a projector screen, I wanted to hang a large comforter to use as a room divider. I didn't want to use regular hooks, as the comforter is pretty heavy. I used these brackets and they work great. 5 stars.

Did the job for heavy screen but changed the anchor screws to something I trust.
