The first time using Amazon Wherehouse and I was skeptical. The box was definitely not ready to be a gift but for an office product, it was fine. All parts and directions were inside and the tray, arm, and mounting bracket were perfect. The installation is simple 12 screws, 3 sets of 4 unique sizes make it simple to figure out with or without the directions. I used a cordless drill for the pilot holes, 4 needed, and the 4 wood screws. It is not required but much easier than by hand. The other 8 screws are threaded and go in by hand smoothly and I tightened with a simple Phillips screwdriver. One note, the mounting hardware for the arm in deeper than I thought, fine for my desk but just check how deep your desk or table is and make sure there are not cross supports or braces that could interfere.

Well made, easy to install, Tilt fiction lock is weak. Installation instruction should include more positioning advice. You will want to consider where the keyboard ists in the shelf, leaving room for the mouse before determining where to install the undermount track. Tilt tension is controlled by a screw which leaves little room between too loose and too tight. With the single caveat about the tilt lock, I can certainly recommend this product to anyone needing a keyboard drawer.

A little wobbly but tighten arm bolts and it works so much better. Ball bearing slides make this my choice as friction slide VEVO I had purchased previously was too hard to slide under desk.

I love this under mount unit. It was easy to install. Just mount guide frame first for hole alignment check. Then remove guide frame, install arm to frame and remount mount under desk. Then install key board guide why sitting in your desk chair with 4 easy screws. It solid and sturdy. You can adjust the height of the board for your fit. An added feature (which I did not realize when I ordered it), you can rotate the key board either direction (pivot point center). This has come in real handy several times in the short time of my use. I wish I had done this earlier. I didn't realize how much more comfortable of typing at below desk top level is. The pad that comes with the board is a nice feature comfort feature. I would buy this unit again and highly recommend it.

Note: there is a summary with concerns at the end, should you want to skip the lengthy review.A full metal pull-out, with height and angle adjustment. The product is sturdy and offers a lot of benefits over a standard wide pullout. However, due to the "neck" being thinner in width, as well as the adjustable angle and height, you may notice more "wobble" from the keyboard especially while typing even with the knob fully tightened. The product is, easy to install with only three main steps, those being put screws into part for other part, then screw unit into desk, then put other part on, done. However, it should be noted that if your desk isn't thick enough, you will notice a bulge or even a pierce from the screws that install the unit (The pull-out, unsurprisingly, has to be screwed into the desk). This unfortunately happened to mine. The "Ergonomic Gel-Wristpad" (if it can be called that) is not very comfortable. It feels hard and awkward, the awkwardness mainly being attributed to the slim design (instead of a much thicker, albeit bulkier design that you may recall from the 2000's and even today). The reality is that the wristpad will serve more as a holder for your keyboard and mouse than anything else. It should also be noted that you will experience even worse wobble if you utilize the wristpad, as you are now applying more force to the edge with no support.Pulling and pushing the pull-out in and out, it has some resistance to it, but does not squeak or moan. Truthfully, I like the bit of resistance it offers, as it prevents me from accidentally pushing it in, though others may find it less than ideal. Pushing it in and out feels smooth.Summary: The product is sturdy material wise, and may be a potential candidate for those looking to replace or add a pull-out. There are three big concerns that should be considered before purchasing this product:1. Thickness of the desk (top region, where the screws will be drilled into to hold the pull-out), as well as the depth of the desk itself (the unit is very long, so it is advised for potential buyers to measure their desk twice).2. Height of the person sitting down, to avoid the pull-out from hitting the chair and/or the person's legs.3. The Wristpad is (as mentioned) not very comfortable. While not hard plastic, it won't give you any real comfort, and the wobble provided due to pressure can throw a typist off. The wobble, again, is there by design.Smaller concerns- Keyboard size. My G910 Orion Keyboard takes up the full depth of the available space, with very little room offered to the right of it for a mouse. The depth of the Orion fits snugly in, but the width of the device disables me from having my mouse down below. For me, this isn't a problem, but for those with far more limited desk-space and larger keyboards, this is a big consideration! Some people prefer to type on a mechanical keyboard, other prefer keyboards with numpads. Depending on the size of your keyboard, you may have to have your mouse live somewhere else, or invest in the trackball mice, or look at alternative pull-outs.- Wobble. I know I mentioned it, but this thing wobbles due to the nature of the adjustable parts, which I sometimes find to be irritating, though not enough to warrant a bad review (sort of a packaged deal when it comes to products that can "adjust"). For typists, this may be a deal-breaker, as the wobble can throw off your "groove" while typing.

I really have little complaint here. The installation instructions were good, and the thing works well and looks sturdy. It is barely wide enough for a keyboard and mouse, so make sure you measure your needs and buy accordingly. But it works fine for my needs.

Doesn’t stay in place. I’m constantly having to readjust it and prop it up on pillows. I’ve tried tightening it with screwdrivers and wrenches, but no matter how tight I make it, it still drops all the time. I wish I would have spent more on one that actually works ☹️

This is a very sturdy shelf. The problem is that many of today's fiberboard desks aren't strong enough to support the 12 pounds AND the frame distance is significant. I didn't see that in the specs, or would not have ordered it. I took it out, saw that my desk would not support it, and had to return it. If you order this, make sure you measure UNDER THE DESK where support bars are, and PUT 14 POUNDS on your desk to see if it can handle the added weight of shelf, keyboard, and your hands. If you have a solid desk, this is a great purchase. If you have a lighter pressed wood, probably not.
