I bought these clips because the ones that came with my Hurst shifter would not stay on. These worked great.

These bushings are really nice, . In my opinion, the tolerances are much closer than the nylon bushings and the clips keep everything nice and snug. I use these bushing and clips any time I do any shifter or transmission work. When setting shift stops on your Hurst shifter or any other shifter, I believe when the stop is reached, you will not be over shifting. This is very important as I have cracked the transmission side plates when the shift stops were not precise. If you are particular about setting up your shifter and have it work smoothly these really work well. Good enough reason for 5 stars.

The Hurst Competition Plus shifter on my 1969 Muncie M21 had a lot of slop due to worn nylon shifter bushings. This kit allowed me to replace the nylon bushings with hardened steel bushings that tightened everything up and will outlast nylon replacement bushings many times over. I very worthwhile upgrade item.

Needed these because the ones I got in the package from my Hurst Shifter were dead soft (no spring) and fell out on the test drive. I used cotter pins until I get these delivered. I notified Hurst and got no satisfaction. These MG's were the right material and I got metal bushings with them to replace the plastic that came with the shifter.
