This Blue Flame 20,000 BTU Natural Gas Vent-Free Heater is the perfect supplemental heating solution even on the coldest days. This heater is conveniently equipped with a thermostat for superior control of the temperature in your space. Also, with a battery-powered electronic ignition, starting it is a breeze - battery included.
Wall or Floor Mount
This unit can be permanently mounted to the wall or securely fastened to the floor with included mounting brackets and fasteners. A clean-burning blue flame tube burner uses the natural convection of the burn to circulate warm comfortable air. With a factory standard Oxygen Depletion Sensor (ODS), rest assured this heater will provide you with years of comfortable and safe heat.

The heater was well packaged. I ordered the blower fan separately and installed it myself, needed a short #2 Philips screwdriver to mount the thermostat. I placed my heater on the floor, so I had to get a street elbow for the gas line to screw into the regulator. I bought the gas installation kit which was complete. Once all the lines and fittings were tight I started and ran the heater. Thermostat works fine, the blower cycled normally. Very nice flame and lots of heat.

First I had to move the thermocoupler and it worked great the pilot light stays lit and the heater worked great. Now I got to relight the pilot light every time I use it at night. I reread the manual and all I understood that it was the air flow. It's 8 inches from the wall and it's in my living room with plenty of air flow. I will check the manual again. I wouldn't recommend the heater to anyone right now.

After our former gas heater from 1992 finally bit the dust I found this Mr. Heater model on Amazon and could not be more pleased. We look forward to many hours of cozy warmth in our sunroom during the winter months at the Jersey Shore.
