If you have any doubt, or have not confirmed with a knowledgeable plumber, that you can install a 60,000 BTU heater in your garage, then you're taking a $1200 loss if you're wrong. This heater is nonreturnable and Amazon will not help you return it, nor will the company you purchased it from (in this case HVAC Direct) be able to help you return it. In my case, the plumber erred in his calculation, so if you're tight on money/budget, even getting a second opinion from a plumber to run the numbers may be a good idea.
