I got this for a quick solution for our bearded dragon. When we got him, the enclosure already came with a substrate that was some kind of material with rough sand glued onto it. It was not easy to clean and absorbed waste material.This mat was easy to measure, cut, and place in the enclosure. I've cleaned it up several times, both spot cleaning with vinegar water and paper towels, as well as removing it from the enclosure and washing it in the sink.We may end up going a different route for substrate...possibly slate...but for the time being this is working wonderfully well. It is very easy to clean and also has a texture which our bearded dragon seems to find satisfactory. The texture gives him some grip as well, so he's not sliding around.

Originally purchased this to replace hard to clean sand and other substrate. While it's nice to be able to wipe the surface down, it's thinner than I expected (although upon further review of the photos they are not misleading) and it does not sit flat on the glass. I had to strategically place my lizard decor to weigh down the corners and double stick some of the places where I didn't have anything to do so. This in turn will make it harder to remove to do a full clean out. It also has a very rough surface, which is great for lizards, but it does make it hard to wipe up their poop and it gets a nice white dust from the calcium that remains even after surface cleaning. Lizards are happy, and I'm happier with this than the substrate. It's a bit of a pain, but easier.

This mat is really good for my bearded dragon as it helps him to walk better inside his cage and so much easier to clean his stinky poops off. I just take the mat out and spray it down with a hose and it’s good as new. Also helps with heat retention in his cage and gives his cage a more even temperature that he has really really enjoyed

Easy to cut to size if needed. It was a bit reflective and freaked my leopard geckos out, so I ended up putting substrate over it. Still would buy again for a different animal if needed.

Achetée pour des geckos léopard. Très facile d'utilisation et d'installation. Facile a nettoyer. Seul mini point négatif fait du bruit lorsque l'animal se déplace.
