Description said it would fit a Stihl 029. The air cleaner did not fit. The threads on the air cleaner didn't match the bolts on my Stihl 029, which I purchased in 1998. I didn't try installing any of the other parts, so I don't know if the carburetor is compatible or if the spark plug will work (probably produced in China, so buyer beware). I returned this item.

I needed to replace the Coil in my 029 and decided to do the Carburetor while I had the Saw on the Bench. The Harbot Carburetor for the 029 STIHL is OEM Grade or Better, installing the Carb Kit was easily done using simple hand tools. My Saw runs like brand new, the Harbot Carburetor has breathed new life into a old Saw. I gave the Harbot Carburetor for 029 STIHL a Full Five Star Rating Across the Board, Installing the Carburetor was Very Easy, it is Durable & Very Reliable to name a few of them.
