Had to grind some around the bolt holes so it would fit the aftermarket intake but other than that it worked great

The lower bracket didn't work for the Vortec intake. The bolt holes didn't line up, and the angle of the bracket was too steep and hit the distributor. If flipped, it would be too far away from the carb/throttle body. It was easy enough to make my own bracket from 16G steel plate and use the top bracket, then it worked just fine.Giving 4 stars for quality of product. If you have a non-vortec intake, this should work just fine. It's not a 1 star product, it's mostly Amazon showing this as the first item when "vortec throttle bracket" is searched.
