It took me a while to figure this out since it comes with no instructions. Youtube is your friend on this. Once I got that sorted out, it makes an excellent factory type connection. I soldered mine but it wasn't really necessary; just crimp well and it will be more than fine. These are expensive but if you want a solid, reliable connection. This is it.

I had a bit of a learning curve since this was the first time I ever used a Deutsch connector but I ended up figuring it out. Nice quality part.

These come in handy when connecting a harness to lights as it makes it easy to connect and dissconnect. Provides for a very clean install.

All components were of a nice heavy duty gauge and good quality too. But I didn't care for the assembly process.... maybe it's my old hands and lack of experience with this type of device, but I could not successfully get the pins to lock into place with the little plastic clips that were provided. I ended up cutting these connectors off and using another product. Like I said, it may have been all my fault (though I've been around this sort of work a while). I just didn't like the assembly process.

Bought these after a little research for my Rigid Industries 40190 Wiring Harness. They work well and where exactly as described.

Giving a 3 star because all the parts were loose in a bubble envelope with no instructions and had an electrical burn smell to it. It was also filthy but my years as a mechanic did not fail me and was able to install it.

The connector housings were very good and held a larger gauge wire which is what I needed but the locks didn't fit at all I had to cut down one to get it past the terminals And The Other One Would Just Fall Out Of The Housing Which won't matter when connected
