I was a little nervous getting these as everyone says you should buy OEM coils, but at the price difference I decided to give it a chance. These have worked perfectly and I've put about 12000 clicks on my 09 F-150 now and they do perform well. The boot on these was a little shorter then the OEM ones I was taking out, but they fit snugly and I used a lot of diaelectric grease on them to make sure no water or anything every gets in there. In hind sight I should have just changed these when I did my plugs a while ago instead of waiting for my gas mileage and performance to drop. From now one when I do my plugs next time I am just going to swap these out along with them. I would highly recommend these to anyone looking to change out their coils.***********UPDATED REVIEWJust as a note I wanted to let people know how these coils are holding up 2.5 years later. These are still running so well, I am so happy with my purchase. I have driven about 140,000 km on these and they have given me no problems at all. I live in Calgary Canada, and my truck has seen -40C and it starts and runs with no problems. I drive not crazy hard, but its a pickup and I use it like a pickup, towing things and hauling heaving stuff. These coils have performed amazingly and I would totally buy them again. In fact I am looking at replacing some coils on a 2009 4.6L Explorer and it takes these coils which I am purchasing and installing without hesitation!************

I'm a gear head and have used MSD for years. With these the Boots are a little shorter than stock brown boots on my 09 5.4L 3 valve but fit and work perfectly. Very noticeable improvement in throttle response and pick up. Doubt there's any HP gain but considerably better response and pick up. Seems to run a little smoother at interstate speeds as well. I had a little bit of a shudder at highway speeds which is why I changed them and plugs at 86,200 miles.

Have had them installed on my Ford Expedition for over a year now (approx 10k miles). No issues whatsoever. Last set I used (not MSD) lasted maybe six months before one coil died. I don't know if it effected my mileage directly because I installed these when I did my cam phaser lock out so my mileage went from 18/19 to about 16/17 on the interstate. The decrease could be due to a lot of reasons...I'm mostly going to say it was because of the lock out and NOT the coil packs.

If putting in a 2004 F-150 5.4 like mine.Been in for about 3 weeks. Sounds much smoother and mileage seems better around town, have not had a chance to check highway mileage yet since I was pulling an enclosed trailer. 11 mpg with that.

Easy to install. Fit like OEM. Smoothed out the idle and at low RPM.

Easy to install if you're mechanically inclined. In combination with new OEM spark plugs I have better throttle response through out the rpm range . Olso got rid of the 40-55 mph stutter under slow acceleration in overdrive.

fit my 04 5.4 3v engine perfectly! 15k miles now and no issues. much cheaper than oem. been buying msd products for racing. cant go wrong here

The coils got rid of my rough idle and engine stumbling under load. I have a cold air intake, catback exhaust and programer in my truck. The best it has ever run; more power and better gas mileage. Highly recommend this product!
