I've had issues with gears being torn at the teeth from starting my high performance motor but not anymore so the name does what is says.

582 race engine 14.5 CR 37degree timing locked dist. had trouble starting unlocked dist. and hooked loop back up back fires thru carb and starts fire at carb on ocastion will have to hook wiring up the way it was and look for a different set up to retard timing during start up
