We purchased 50 food grade buckets to store our garden vegetables in after freeze drying. Then I realized I couldn’t open the buckets!!! This product was exactly what I needed. It was very easy to use even with arthritis in my hands.

I have many, now, 5gal buckets with lids for long storage. This works good for removal and they still seal well after too. Does not seem to alter the lid, might if it's very cold out.

This tool works on the lids similar to the lids from the pails at the hardware store.
