Was looking for a can opener that would remove the lid while opening, and I'm so happy I found this product! It is so easy to turn and open cans. It cuts through cans with ease, while also keeping the "blade" protected so your fingers are safe. Fits well in your hand and built well, not too big and not too small.

It is lightweight and compact. Easy to use and store. It is also easy to turn the handle. I was skeptical to try this can opener after struggling with heavier and harder to handle can openers. It cuts the top of the can right off and leaves no sharp edges. This one is not like any other I have used and I'm not sure why this is. It is not expensive. It is a lesser price than the previous openers I've bought. The price was actually a bargain. I would buy it again in a minute and highly recommend it to everyone.

I have been buying this style of starfrit can opener since they started selling it, decades ago. I have arthritic hands and I find this little thing perfect for me. It takes very little effort to use it. I hope it never leaves the market, as it does need replacing after a decade or so!! Great item!

Unlike other can openers, this one deserves some praise for the fantastic design thinking outside of the box (of the can, in this case!). It cuts the lid altogether from the side, leaving a clean cut without sharp edges, and no force is required. Kudos to the product designer who came up with or copied the idea, the results are outstanding. It had been a long time since a kitchen product for regular use suprised me positively. I’ve only used it for a few hours but unless it breaks quickly (which I doubt) I’m extremely happy with my purchase.

Bought this to replace one that I have had for years. Plus is that it makes opening cans so easy for someone that struggles with regular can openers and is reasonably priced. Con is that they don't last forever, but if it can help you for 5-6 years defiantly worth the price.

Bought this to replace all of the dull can openers my mom and I had that only seemed to work sometimes, and this one has been great so far.It's fairly ergonomic, which was important for me as my mother is disabled and sometimes has limited use of her hands if the pain is flaring badly, yet she did just fine with it once we got it attached properly. I will say, if you've never used a more ergonomic can opener you may have a slight adjustment period with this one, but it's nothing that can't be overcome with a little patience.It truly leaves no sharp edges at all, at least not on anything I've used it on so far since getting it in the mail today (Jan 8/2025) - which is a bonus if you have any kids in the home, or maybe elderly parents or something of the sort that could possibly hurt themselves.It's easy to release the lid into the trash as well, you just open the handles and let it fall.Overall, it's a great little opener for a relatively low price.
