I wanted an affordable cocking rope in orange so I don't keep loosing it. This is perfect. It has brass pulleys and is well made. It was easy to adjust the length to fit my crossbow as it comes a bit longer than others. Just retire the knot for one of the handles, cut the rope and singe it with a grill lighter and you are good to go. Best practice is to make it about a half inch shorter that needed so it stays on the xbow string for transport and storage. Highly recommend it.

If you need a rope for cocking this is a good choice. It cocks with the best of them. It's the right size, it will provide many years of cocking needs.

This is a good crossbow cocker. I like a heavier rope, but this is my own personal preference. The cocking system is much like most others on the market today, and it performs well.

This looked like a good universal cocker so I bought it to replace my extremely worn cocker that came with my old Horton crossbow. It would work for most newer crossbows that have a position designed onto the stock to pull against. However my old crossbow does not and I was not able to use this product. I’ll keep it as a spare for my next crossbow. I’m still looking for a cocker that will work on my old crossbow.Update: I bought a new Parker crossbow and this cocker works great with it! I shortened it a few inches to make it easier to use with my outfit. It is SO much easier to cock my crossbow with this than the device I had with my old Horton crossbow.

String was thin and orange stuff flakes off.

I purchased this for my husband for his crossbow. He said the pull cord was just what he needed and it worked as expected. He said the hand grips worked fine, and he has large hands.
