My 94-year-old father-in-law uses this to get in and out of the car. It is a tremendous help, very durable, easy for him to use. He’s able to put it on and remove it easily. The handle is comfortable and a good fit.

Sturdy product that works exactly as advertised. I keep it in the passenger door pocket and use it when I drive elderly relatives around especially with those who have a hard time getting out of the car. I slip this into the door latch when they need to get out and they use it to help them stand up and out of the car. They can hold on and use this to pull themselves out of the seat, and can also lean on it when standing up. Very helpful and useful purchase.

These portable handles are great. They provide a solid, secure handhold to assist entering and exiting a vehicle for those with strength and mobility issues. They work best, in my opinion, placed so the handle projects straight out from the door frame; perpendicular not parallel to the car body. They can be placed in a parallel position. Very easy to decide which is best for you. I bought three; one for each vehicle and one for the purse in case it’s needed. I did not try breaking a window with it.

This is great to help older people get out of vehicles. It gives you a removable handle just where you need it on the door frame. It is sturdy without being too heavy. It slips easily into the side compartment inside the door. The only downside is that the tip of the tool (which can be used to pressure-crack a stuck side window) is covered by a rubber tip to keep the user from poking or gouging themselves. And that rubber tip or cover comes off every single time I handle the tool. This is problematic because you don't want to glue it in place, because then you can't get to the pokey tip, but if you leave it uncovered, it is liable to gouge the user.

Wonderful find! My husband hurt his back and had a terrible time getting in and out of the car. I found this and decided to give it a try, worked like magic! He no longer needs it but keep it in the car for anyone with back problems or problems getting in or out of the car to use if the need too. I think everyone should keep one in their car just in case.

I saw this advertised years ago ,but didn’t think it could be of use for me. Then I grew more infirm and found that getting out of the car was a deal more difficult. I saw this simple tool and ordered it. My life has been changed. I can easily exit the car.
