I got this to disassemble a lens I'd gotten for cheap that needed some cleaning. This made it super easy to get the lens apart to clean the elements and now it it working perfectly. Nice kit.

Not robust or strong enough for higher torques but okay for light duty. Pins are held in by set screws but pins really need flat machined into them for a more positive lock. Set screws have hex drive but wrench has a lot of play due to inaccurate hex holes in the set screws regardless of trying other standard English and metric hex wrenches. Set screws are small and easy to lose.

A nice solid feeling tool. i use this for tightening and loosening the retaining rings for the lenses I have mounted on lens boards. I don't currently have any bent filters but if i did, I would reach for this.Comes with a variety of tips for your lens disassembly needs.

Der Basiskörper mit dem Gewinde zur Einstellung der Weite macht einen guten und stabilen Eindruck.Das Problem sind die Einsätze und ihre Befestigung. Das Loch im Grundkörper ist zu groß, so dass die Einsätze darin wackeln bzw. schief eingespannt werden. Das Problem mit den zu weichen Madenschrauben wurde schon beschrieben. Dito das sich die Einsätze mit den flachen Enden unter den vermeintlich festgezogenen Schrauben wegdrehen. Diese Einsätze müssten am Schaft flach angeschliffen sein, damit die Madenschrauben wirklich fest angezogen werden können und die Spitzen dann sicher gegen Verdrehung eingespannt sind.Das Grundproblem dieses Werkzeugs sind aber die zu breiten Enden der Einsätze. Die Schlitze in den Befestigungsringen der Linsen sind wesentlich schmaler. D.h. die Einsätze können gar nicht fassen. Damit erfüllt das Werkzeug für mich nicht seinen Zweck.

Satisfait toutes mes attentes. Outil robuste je craignais que les différents outils ne soient pas costauds. Pour avoir bien forcé sur un bague je peux dire qu'ils ne se sont pas tordu.envoi rapide. Je suis satisfait. Merci

I used it to mount a lens on a lens board for my 4x5 film camera. It worked far better than the H shaped tool that I have lost. Although it cost more it is better value than the lost tool. The only niggle is the very small grub screws which will be easy to lose. There are six supplied but, in practice, you only use two.
