Update: I purchased a new one and the remote for the new one worked with the old mirror and the old remote worked for the new mirror. Weird but I now have exactly what I wanted and the mirror now works as it should. I'm happy with the product just wish I didn't have to buy 2.I purchased this off of my baby registry, set it up in preparation for the arrival of my baby and now that we're days away from having her, I tried to turn it on and try it out and it doesn't work. All new batteries and everything and it's a dud. I'm extremely upset about this because my vehicle doesn't have a light for the back seats so It was important to me to have a baby mirror that had a light so I could see her.

I had a different mirror I loved that sadly broke before I purchased this one. Now that I have this one, it is my new favorite! So many evenings driving in the dark and I wanted to see if my baby was asleep, but without turning on the cab lights I was unable to tell. This mirror can show me!Included is an easy to use remote with a visor clip. There are four different modes- 30 second soft white light to check on baby, soft white light, continuous color changing light, and stationary blue, green, yellow, or orange light. To save battery there is an automatic shutoff at 30 minutes. These different settings are perfect for a quick check, entertain baby, or long term see to play in the dark.The mirror itself is a good size, not overly big, but definitely not small. Its reflection is clear, not distorted, and good quality. It also has buttons on the side to switch between settings and turn on/off.It attaches to the head rest easily by two sets of straps with buckles that go over and around. Once secured, the mirror is sturdy and doesn’t wobble or shift. It is easy to adjust the mirror itself to where it needs to be positioned.Unlike other reviewers, I never had a problem with the mirror or remote not working. It does require batteries, the mirror doesn’t come with batteries, but the remote does.I highly recommend this product.

Was really excited about this. Got it all installed and then the remote did not work, so I figured the battery needed to be replaced. After changing the battery it still did not work.However, this review is more for their customer support…I Contacted munchkin customer support to try and get my product replaced and they were AWFUL. Terrible attitude toward me and so many back and forth emails. It seemed no matter what I provided them (proof of purchase, video, images) it was never enough. It seems they are trying to do everything to avoid replacing my dud of a product. Still waiting to hear back from my latest email. Dealing with someone named Raquel. Do not recommend this very rude person. Try to find someone else if you encounter them.

Love this mirror!! Has a remote, the light is just bright enough to see the baby, and for the baby to not be bothered by it because it’s not blinding. Has a colorful light option. This is my third baby and I love this one way better than a standard mirror. The battery has lasted 2 months so far, haven’t had to change any batteries since getting it (got it in March).YOU DO have to have one of those detachable headrests in order to use this mirror! It has straps you adjust to the headrest, and then you have to move the mirror around in order for you to be able to see your baby in the review mirror and when you turn around to look at them. Definitely have the baby in the car seat when adjusting :)

This is the second one we have received with a crack. We just returned one. This one is much smaller so we are going to keep it and save the hassle of returning. Just bummed that they both came cracked. Otherwise we love it.

I got this because we travel a lot and often at night. I wanted to be able to check on the baby in the dark. You have to get the remote in the right spot to turn it on which, on the highway, is not ideal. But I can see her and she LOVES the colors. It was easy to install and move to other cars, I see her well (though it is mare dark of a tint then I like)

I love how it fits on the head rest. My son loves that it lights up and he can see the different colors. It was easy to install and easy to move so you can see him not like other mirrors where you have to move the whole thing to see your child.
