We say no to Bonded Leather and anything else that isn’t the best. We use a multi-generational family-owned tannery that performs a precise, delicate tanning process ensuring a correct.

We ordered this for a theater project for my daughter. When it showed up, I was very surprised about the quality. I assumed that by the low price it would be scarred or rough. We were so pleased by what we got. A good solid leather without marring or scarring, no tough spots. We were able to get her project done and the leather looks amazing.

I am no leather working pro and usually just buy junk clearance leather at a local store. What a difference with good stuff! I am not one to normally leave a review when something is just as good as i expected it to be, but this is better than i expected. Very uniform thickness, no marks or scars, well packaged to arrive in good shape. Grab some of this if you are just getting started instead of fighting with junk while you learn like i did!

I have a leather crafts shop and use the 12x24" sheets for one of my best selling pieces, so I go through a LOT of it. I'm often ordering 3-4 several times a week. It is consistent, with a smooth, flawless grain side, and a smooth, suede like backing with minimal grain sticking up. I occasionally get a piece that is very fuzzy on the back, and oil tanned leather doesn't burnish well, so I know I can smooth it out with Tokonole gum but over time it will get 'hairy' again. So I just send those pieces back - these are the thickness I need them to be, so I can't skive them any thinner to smooth them out when this happens, but again, it's rare. From what I've found on Amazon (and I've tried most out), this is the best quality and most consistent. Highly recommend!

This is a softer piece of cow than you might want, but it is handy and evenly tanned. Buy from this guy

I’m very satisfied with this leather, it’s easy to use and it takes dyes evenly and is extremely durable. I will definitely be buying this again soon and will be ordering an even larger order.

I wanted to start leatherworking so I purchased a kit and this leather. As my first project I made a simple sheath for a small tomahawk. I made some mistakes, but it came out better than I expected given it is the first thing I made. I also cut off a 3" wide strip to make a strop.The leather was exactly what I needed. The rough side was a little rougher than I had expected (could be normal for all I know), but the smooth side is fine with no flaws. I will purchase this again in the future.

I purchase several things on Amazon and was giving pretty in-depth reviews. From this point on, here's the new agenda…. if it works as advertised, is well made, meets or exceeds the description, is a value, and arrives in a fair amount of time, it will get a "star rating" equal to what my expectations were/are. If it doesn't meet these criteria, then I will most definitely and descriptively tell the short comings of the products and you as a consumer will not have to go through the trouble of buying the product without some background knowledge. If the sell pulls that item and relists under another description, I will put the exact same review on the seller's feedback page. Sellers have done this a couple of times in the past, and I was true to my word then as well as now. DR

Typically I purchase the same product from a well known leather store but will now only be ordering this. Free amazon shipping makes this much more cost effective. The quality of this leather is great. Highly recommend. Arrived almost a week early as well!

Muse Craft Flawless Leather 12 x 24" is good leather to work with, it is very tough and cuts nicely with a clean edge. It is vegetable tanned, and can be dyed to any colour easily with a leather dye.This leather can have many uses, and this size is a good balance between area and cost.
