Your cart is empty.These incredible dinosaurs lived during the Late Cretaceous period , about 70-66 million years ago. Most of the fossils from the Mosasaurus were found in Europe and North America. The powerful carnivores that reached lengths of up to 56 feet roamed the oceans near the surface where they would hunt their prey of ammonites, birds, fish and turtles. Mosasaurus Tooth will measure between 25mm and up to 30mm in length.

The tooth is exactly as described and as shown in the photo. (Note that the ruler in the product photo is in centimeters, not inches. 2.5 centimeters = 1 inch.) My only concern is that the tooth is fairly brittle. Small, sand-like grains flaked away when I handled the tooth. I'm considering putting some sort of clear sealant on the tooth to protect it, but I'm worried that might make the tooth look fake.Bottom line: Great for display. It's very cool to hold a tooth that is over 60 million years old. But the tooth probably shouldn't be handled much.

Smaller then I thought but really cool gift for my 5 year old. She’s thrilled to have a real piece of a dinosaur.

I bought this as an early Christmas gift. It's pretty freaking cool and comes with a certificate of authenticity and a little plastic display case. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is that you can tell the tooth I received had been broken in half and glued back together. I guess for 95 million years old and such a cheap price, that's not too shabby! But it did disappoint me a bit.

The dinosaur tooth was very disappointing. It was very small for the price. Also it came in a small cloth bag no display case came with it

The product is about a third the size as the one shown in the picture. Additionally the product was said to come in a display case, a protective plastic shaped case with a description on it and it's certificate of authenticity. Item FAR smaller than the picture,NOT in the protective case AS PICTURED IN AD with its photo and description and certificate... Instead we received a postcard from the place which give some info.....and a very small loose tooth

One of his favorite gifts; really neat that this is a real tooth and is in a good presentation box. He really enjoyed getting it as a gift and displays it proudly in his room and is sure to show it off when friends come over!

Those that say they doubt they are authentic have no idea what they are talking about. I am a collector, and it is obvious this is the real deal. The fact that they sometimes come cracked or broken is a pretty good clue it's real. If it was fake it would easily break. For this price I would order 3 just to get one that wasn't broken and would feel good about it. Mine came in flawless.
