Often adding performances to colorful sections to enhance the atmosphere. This instrument is made by bending thin steel bars and striking them with a metal rod. The sound has a short wavelength and a cool sound quality, making it suitable for simple rhythmic strikes. The metal rod can also be placed inside a triangular iron ring to rotate and play a "rolling" effect. Triangle iron is a military musical instrument of Türkiye, which was later introduced into Europe. In the 18th century, it was adopted by symphony orchestras, which used triangular iron with no fixed pitch. The sound of striking different parts of the triangle iron is slightly different, with the lowest sound on the long side and the higher sound on the short section of the isosceles. When playing the vibration sound, repeatedly and quickly strike the two sides of the corner, or draw a circle inside the triangle to strike the three sides.

The triangle looks just like I remember them in grade school, but it doesn't quite have the sound, at least not the softness my memory gives it. Granted it has been a great span of time since my last time with one, after all, Ronald Reagan was still president in those days. I did manage to get the right harmonious ring a couple of times, so it most likely has more to do with my method than the instrument itself.The main reason it didn't get a better rating is because the handle on the tapping stick has a long crack. It looks like it was caused by a size discrepancy and happened by being forced over the stick(see images). It also doesn't come with any kind of case, sleeve, or drawstring bag, but luckily I had a nice one for spare. As for the triangle set, it was all just too average in overall quality for me to recommend. Thank you.
