Okay I'll admit that I'm new to the Musiclily brand, but after seeing these tuners, I'm a new fan. I was pleasantly surprised and pleased when I received these tuners. I have been gifted a hand me down guitar that was in need of some TLC and especially some new tuners. The guitar itself is a silver glitter finish, so I want black tuners to add a little contrast to the original silver tuners. And of course I wanted to trade up to a locking tuners tuners as well. Now the guitar that I'm working on is a long way from being finished.The pictures show the original washers were a bit larger than the ones that came with these tuners. That problem will be solved when I buff out and reseal the headstock. But for now I did at least want to show the tuners being used. Now of course I will not be able to fully test the tuners until the strings are applied. But so far I am very pleased with the quality and appearance of these Musiclily tuners. Thank you.

These are very strong and solid tuning machines. You can feel it when you are turning them to tune up. The string locks thumb screws turn very smoothly and are really nice. I've got locking tuners from Gotoh, and Guyker and Tone Ninja, but these could be my favorite ones of the bunch - certainly the best priced ones.

These look like nice machine heads on the outside, but if you remove one of the thumbwheels you will see how cheap they are. They are hard to turn even after oiling them and working them with my electric winder. The gears are peened on the shafts and the metal is split in several places on each tuner. See pic and zoom in. This is likely why some of these import brands don't show pictures of the insides. That way you can't see what you are buying. Quality machine heads typically will have a small nut that screws down and holds the gear in place. This allows you to actually adjust the tension. I used these on a cheap import guitar and now that I know how cheap they are, I would not buy them again. Who knows how long they will last.

These Musiclilly gold-colored locking guitar tuners arrived in an attractive glossy branded custom box. The contents within were held in a custom folded carboard container. A branded pick was also included.These tuners appear to be well-crafted, high quality and sturdy components. I've heard many good things about Musiclilly and am looking forward to installing these tuners on a guitar that I'm building. Not only will these elevate the quality of the build and keep the instrument in tune, but will make it more attractive.All in all, I'm very happy with these tuners. Should my experience with them go out of tune in the future, I'll update the review.

While Musiclily isn't "top of the line", they do make decent products. These are not boutique tuners, but they don't cost $40 each either.If you're looking for a good, solid set of locking tuners, and are on a budget, these will work great.I appreciate the quality-to-price ratio and with that in mind, these are a great deal.The locking mechanism works well, they are easy to twist, feel smooth while tuning, and they stay in tune.The finish is good. There are no blemishes or defects in the way they look or how they feel when tuning.If you're looking for a decent upgrade to locking tuners, these are a great option.

These have about the smallest pegheads I've seen on tuners. I mean that in a good way. They have a vintage look from the front of the headstock with the features of modern locking tuners on the rear. They're going to look great on my upcoming Tele style build. I have Musiclily locking tuners on a couple of other guitars and I've gotten excellent results from them. These have the same design and I expect them to perform equally as well. For those who aren't familiar, just stretch your string out, lock them down with the thumbwheel, and tune to pitch. Nice upgrade for MIM and Squier Strats and Teles.

those tuners are light, 30g each, in the range of non-locking tuners, so the guitar will not get nosedive and you don't need plastic buttons either. They instantly improved the sound of several guitars I've put them on. My new standard, I would love to see a 3+3 version too. I've also started mixing and matching parts from black and chrome versions, looks cool and unique. love the design as well.

I find these tuners really good. They work great and feel nice and solid, not flimsy or cheap. They’re a great cost effective alternative. They fit the necks I use and they’re super easy to install.
