You can finally let go! MusicNomad's patent pending Acousti-Lok is a strap lock adapter that adds the safety & flexibility of using strap locks to your acoustic guitar without permanently modifying it. Designed to be used with Schaller style strap locks (not included), Acousti-Lok's strong solid brass construction gives you the security you have been looking for. With different Acousti-Lok designs to choose from, make sure you find the one that is compatible with your acoustic guitar output jack. Acousti-Lok was not designed to be used on recessed or flush mount jacks.

The Metric Acousti-Lok MN271 fits all M9 x .75 metric thread jacks, compatible with All L.R. Baggs pickup output jacks including Element and Element VTC, but not Element Bronze (use MN270), K&K Sound Universal Sound Board Pickup (Hot Spot, Big Shot, Big Twin, Twin Spot) & more.
The Taylor Acousti-Lok MN272 is specifically designed for Taylor Guitars with a 9 Volt Expression System Battery Box.
The Acousti-Lok Strap Solution for 3 Screw Output Jacks & End Pins MN273 is specifically designed for 3 screw output jacks & endpins found on Taylor Guitars with ES-B or ES-Go, Taylor GS Mini without Electronics, Takamine Guitars and Yamaha Guitars & more.
The QuickSecure Conversion Kit MN274 allows you to convert the Acousti-Lok Part Numbers MN270, MN271, MN272 into a non-strap lock button. Acoustic guitars where the strap button and output jack are combined are extremely difficult to securely attach the strap around the strap button. The QuickSecure "mushroom-style" button design finally gives you a quick and secure non-strap lock solution.

This product does exactly what you need it to do. It installed effortlessly over the jack of my K&K pure mini, allowing me to relocate the strap pin, (which is perfect to receive a Schaller strap lock) and letting the strap actually fit easily on the pin. 100% recommend.

This is the perfect solution for attaching a non-locking guitar strap to an acoustic/electric guitar that has the end button also serving as the output jack plug-in (a ridiculous design that is only good for playing while sitting). That end button is way too wide for the standard guitar strap hole and is about impossible to use without opening the hole on the strap, which could ruin the stitching on a nice leather strap. This has two options, one for Martin and one for pretty much all the others. Nice sturdy black plated steel construction. Also has an optional button attachment for those who prefer not to use a strap lock. the only drawback is it is only available in black plated. My Hummingbird has all gold trim, so I bought a set of gold Dunlop endpins and used one in place of the optional button attachment and it worked perfectly!

Apparently these are designed to work with Schaller locks by default, which is fine, I guess, if not immediately obvious. You apparently need to file down the set screw when using a Dunlop brand strap lock, or replace it entirely, in order to get it to play ball. Also, installing it was a little weird. It took me a few minutes to get both pieces to align, it's a little hard to explain, but the inner metal brace falls in a little deeper than the thicker plastic upper piece does, and took a few minutes to figure out what was going on before the screw would align. maybe that's just me.In the whole I didn't really mind this given that without this, I couldn't use ANY strap locks with my Taylor, and the existing strap hook is unhelpfully short (one of my only complaints with Taylor), so this gets a thumbs up there, but as i grew up using Dunlop StrapLoks, i was somewhat disappointed to find my old straploks were not immediately compatible. Schallers are apparently a better design though, so ok. But i wish it was more obvious that these were designed for Schallers!

I am a gigging musician, and I've had too many close calls with the tail end of the strap letting go without warning. No more! The Acouti-Lok adapter took about 10 seconds to install on my Epiphone J-200 Jumbo, and I liked it so much I immediately ordered another for my cheap Washburn. Highly recommend!

The design of the Taylor guitar strap holder is silly on the bottom. I’m glad I found this solution, now I can lock my strap in and not worry about it falling off. It makes it a little weird plugging in the guitar now but it’s worth it to not have the strap fall off. I am using a strap lock ring with it
