Dryers/regulator all together in one compact unit made plumbing minimal. Replaced an old dryer and regulator that were separate components. Easy to install, no leaks, pressure adjustment easy to operate. I like it so far.

This 1/4" NPT twin bowl air drying system by NANPU is great for a smaller set up to ensure that your air is moisture free for cleaner paint jobs. I don't spray full-time so this set up works well for the small projects I do occasionally. I use a variety of paint spray guns from cup guns to HVLP to an airbrush set up. As this is a smaller set up it works perfectly for airbrushing. For higher air volume applications, the throughput can lag a little but you can tune the regulator to compensate for air pressure spikes. You may notice a sharp drop in pressure after you first trigger the air but this is relatively easy to deal with when spraying and can also be lessened by using shorter or larger diameter hoses from the drying unit. Depending on what I'm spraying, I will sometimes use a regulator at the gun as well as another moisture trap to be extra vigilant. If you want your air as pure as possible for spraying, it's good to drain your compressor regularly and also have an oil trap with your air supply. The twin drying unit comes with fittings and a small pressure gauge to get you set up quickly and easily. I used my own teflon tape as it appears the small roll provided is not ideal. The bowls are made of plastic as are the release valves for the collected moisture. There are no additional bowl guards on this smaller unit so this would not exactly be considered a professional set up. However, at the current price of $32.99, it's an affordable way to ensure dry air if you're just getting started or want to keep your costs down. I'm not sure about the durability of this unit yet but for now I'll give it 4 stars.

I'm giving a 1 because the product broke and I can't get information on warranty form Amazon or Nanpu.
Trying to cut down..on everything.

I have a 35 gallon compressor for use in my personal garage. I use it a lot.The original regulator was basically shot and it didn't have water separator. This unit comes with a 2 stage water separator and a regulator in one unit.It also can be very application specific as you can separate them withjust one screw into separate units and they have integrated 1/4 inch threadsfor pipe connections. When abutted against each other they usea ramp connector to apply pressure to the included o-rings.As you can see from my installation the way the output pipe on my compressorwouldn't allow the unit to be installed as one piece. So I got somegalvanized 1/4 pipe and installed them separately and so you couldget to the drains on the water separators. In use the regular seems to flow well and regulates the pressure as expected. The water separators definitely work. After a long session of using itto blow out some wood working machines there was about 1/4 of inch ofwater in one of them. This will work well for any medium sized compressor system.

This is my third NANPU product and they traditionally perform very well in my environment. I use these products on my compressed air system that provides air to my air-driven tools, air-driven paint guns, and general compressed air blow-off the-dust applications. So, I use them a lot ;-). I also use my compressed air system for heavier jobs with air-hungry tools and the sandblaster. The NANPU drying system works very well and is perfect for paint guns and smaller tools that do not need lubrication however, many of the tools, such as ‘nailers and lug guns require lubrication to reduce friction and wear on the internal components and allow the tool to run smoother. So a second line is required to add the lubricator for those tools needing lubrication. I install the lubricators as close to the location that the tools that need lubrication, so it minimizes the amount of compressed lines I need. The second NANPU dryer and lubricator are 75’ away from the compressor and primary NANPU dryer. I will put a third NANPU in on a smaller line since I can control the pressure as well as maintaining a “dry lineâ€. I am in an area that is very humid in the summertime and my compressor is inside but not in HVAC space for the noise consideration.I have been very pleased with all the NANPU products I have and which are still in use after years of service. They are easy to adjust, easy to clean and maintain, and I have never had a failure even under 130 PSI for years. These products compete with light industrial-classed equipment without the industrial pricing.

Installed after my existing dryer wasn’t capturing all of the water and making my tools fail prematurely and making painting troublesome. This double dryer works as one should. Would recommend to anyone with a medium usage of air tools.
