While the product works ok, you a not able to make duplicate keys. The blanks are not available.

Hey, a lot of these DO NOT WORK in those mailbox arrays that they put in residential developments! This one DOES! There's a special part of the shape of these mailbox keys that will either fit or not... It's the special shape that's cut into the lock. If it goes all the way to the surface where it joins the back surface of the door, then it will work. Otherwise, if it has a raised surface on the lock itself, it will not fit. This is a nice, simple, (but SOLID), lock that (gratefully) includes THREE keys, (as most do). For me, it installed in less that five minutes with 14mm wrench and a screwdriver. Just pull the clip off the old one and take the actual cam off the old lock and tighten it onto the new lock with the wrench. You're DONE! Be careful to observe the orientation of the old lock before you remove it!This one is GOOD TO GO!
