It works very well as a bluetooth device. I wish that there was a slight difference in the shape between the ear and mouthpiece end for easy pickup correctly when the phone rings. It's very easy to put it down wrong...or someone else does...and then you end up with the mouthpiece at the ear unless you take a look at the contacts on the back side. This is minor but could be improved somehow. The really important one is that it is advertised as connecting automatically when you pick up the phone. The reality is that it does not. You have to push to button to connect. Not something one would ever have done with older style phones...which really it is.

I was really excited to get this bluetooth handset. I really liked that it manage connections to two simultaneous devices. My goal was to use it with Skype on my desktop and my iPhone. Alas, two issues - the first is that the Amazon description is worn. They show the Moshi Moshi with the iPhone docking station in the picture but that is a different handset (and it is like $80 more) - Strike One So once I got over that surprise I set the handset up with my computer and my iPhone. I seemed to always fail to connect unless the incoming call was on the last device I used to call out -Strike two. Then I decided to unpair it from the desktop so I could at least use it consistently with the iPhone. Again issues. Sometimes it shows connected in the bluetooth setting on iPhone I make a call and nothing on the handset. When I have been able to align the stars to get it to work it is not as comfortable on my ear as I would like. So basically - it looks great but as a reliable bluetooth handset - not so much!

Stop holding the dumb block for glass, plastic and metal next to your head! I must see the dial pad, and other info that my iPhone lets me access during a call. This is the best most elegant solution. Works as advertised. Better than any other add-on handset or Bluetooth accessory I've tried. It's beautiful, and I only wish I could have another by my easy chair at home and another in my home office and by my bed. But one in the office is ok, and handsfree in the car, and other cheaper BT options on the road. All purchased by a satisfied Amazon customer. The rumored iPhone 4 problem with touching the wrong spot, will never be tested if you don't hold the phone up to your head. Get the best voice experience with this handset. Really, I recommend it, I love it. Do it.

I've been using one of these at work for 5 or 6 months. I have it paired to my smartphone and my laptop (running Linux) simultaneously. Pairing is uneventful, it re-connects to paired devices automatically, and I have not had to re-pair for any reason. I've only put it back into pairing mode when I need to connect it to a new device or machine. I sit down, power on my laptop, power up bluetooth on my smartphone, then power up the Curve. It beeps twice - once for each device it's connecting do - and I go about my day.Talk time has been great, range has been fine for the office where I don't usually get more than 10 feet from my desk while talking, and the convenience of having one handset paired up to both devices at the same time make it easy to juggle voice calls on the smartphone, google voice, skype, hangouts, etc, during the day without having to think about it. It also looks great on my desk so it has that going for it too. There is one issue, and it's kind of a big issue. It seems that you've got a 50/50 shot of getting a call that is free of static or complaints from the other party that they can't hear you. I don't trust it to make important calls at work because of that. It's fine for talking to friends, family, or calls to people in my office who won't judge, but as far as calling someone outside of that I tend to reach for my desk phone instead of the Curve. I have to give it a big hit on the ratings because when we're talking about a device for communication there really is nothing more important than conveying calls clearly from point A to point B. If you can't do that reliably then all then everything else is really worthless. If sound on this thing was crystal clear I'd give it a 4/5 or better, but as-is it's really a 3/5 product.

Very nice looking. Top of the line packaging. But I did very poorly figuring out when it was upside up or upside down: the receiver feels the same either way. The bluetooth part didn't work well (crackling, dropping calls), and my phone is a foot away. Testing the range, was about 10 feet for me, not 10 meters. The volume + and - buttons feel the same and are too close to the hang up button. The various combinations of holding, hanging up, switching calls, are fairly similar and hard to remember (click it, hold down .5 second, or 3 seconds, or 5 seconds, etc, etc). This is my first Amazon return ever, in many years. If the bluetooth had worked great, I likely would have kept it. I wanted to love this.(On the other hand, the retro phone from these people is great! It's not bluetooth (headphone plug) and works/looks fabulous.)

The Moshi handset feels very well made, and comes in impressive packaging that one might more expect from an Apple product. One oddity is that the handset and base are almost perfectly symmetrical, and the points on the base that mate with the charging connectors are on the opposite end from where I expected then to be, resulting in the base and handset being set up upside down to begin with. Its setup and pairing process seem to work reliably with all the devices I tried, and while I don't consider the device perfect, it works as advertised, feels completely solid and manufactured to the highest quality standards, and it actually works (a plus for and Bluetooth device). If you're looking at this device and think it looks like it might be something you would like and use, then you're probably correct and should give it a try without worry.G.

Very stylish handset, well built, sound quality is great. Useful charging feature through pins on the base. The only minus is the concaved center button which is difficult to press with large or long-nailed fingers.
