We have an outdoor grilling area with several natural gas appliances built into a 30 foot long bar. The area is closed in during the winter, so I have one plugged in the bar countertop and one plugged inside the bar in case a leak should occur. I really like the temp gauge, we watch it everytime we use the outdoor kitchen. The alarm is loud when testing, and the units are not too big, you hardly notice them. Great product.

Just what I was looking for in our kitchen after our old stove was dumping gas. Highly recommend good quality and has lots of options.

The Gas Detectors Plug in Wall, 2 Pack - Is a great value and a great way to disseminate among vulnerable rooms in your home. I've evaluated these for 10+ days and so far, they seem to be accurate in terms of the temperature and humidity values. I have a stand-alone device that monitors many other elements in my home, and these seem to be aligned within a few values. I did try to test these with a Bic Lighter (unlit but pressing the fuel button) and no alarm sounded. In doing further research, it might take up to 60 minutes for these alarms to activate given higher levels of PPM's so I do not recommend the Bic Lighter test. In doing the internal testing of these alarms, they appear active and accurate. I recommend these detectors in your home for safety and peace of mind.

We tested these to make sure they would do something in case and it does! Definitely buy these for the added safety.

This works well and talks well. The gas man thought it was a cool feature and he asked where I got it.

It also shows the temperature and humidity. It is functional. It is three in one.

I placed this natural gas detector 2 feet away from my stove. Recently, someone bumped into one of the stove knobs so that gas is leaking, but it did not ignite. I could smell the gas, but the detector did not go off. I thought maybe it was too little gas. Today we had our gas fired hot water heater replaced, which is in the basement. Natural gas was released during the process of replacement and I could smell the natural gas on the second floor of my house, but still the detector did not go off. My advice is to find a reputable and reliable natural gas detector. I’m looking for one myself.
