Works great! a much better option than the one we had from the dealership. Was easy to install but a warning those installing, be sure to secure the wiring from the old unit before you cut it loose. Had to remove the entire panel when hubby dropped it through the tiny hole. :)

Easy to install. Fits perfectly where the old co2 detector was. Looks great and was cheaper than getting it done at an RV shop. Alarm sound is loud enough to wake you up if need be.

We bought this to replace our rv propane detector when our original one was at its end of life. This was easy to install and works as it should. The green light that indicates it is working is kinda bright in the dark but since our camper is bigger and we don’t usually sleep in the main room where it’s located it doesn’t bother us. It would be annoying if it was in a smaller camper that didn’t have separate sleeping areas.

Edit: THIS ALARM WORK AS INTENDED. IT WILL SAVE YOUR LIFE. I’ve now had this alarm for months and I can say it 100% works great. It does its job very well. I’ve accidentally left an unlit stove burner on and the alarm went off a few minutes later. It also goes off from cleaning products which is a good sign for carbon monoxide. So yes it definitely does the job it’s intended to.OLD REVIEW: I’ll start off by saying that I love how they package this alarm. There is a mounting plate that screws to the wall that the alarm clips into via plastic clips that are pretty sturdy. This makes it much easier to make sure the alarm is straight before mounting. What I really love is how they packaged the mounting plate on the back of the alarm but backwards so that it wouldn’t accidentally get stuck to the alarm during shipping. It also made it obvious what it was for.The design is very sleek and looks very nice on the wall. The lights are very visible and easy to read. The alarm has detailed descriptions on the face that tell you what each light means. It’s a great upgrade to the alarm that came with the RV. We decided to use command strips with Velcro so we didn’t have to drill new holes. It was a little larger than the original alarm but the design makes up for the size.It is a bit pricey but I think it’s worth it.

Our OEM detector started malfunctioning and I chose this as a replacement. Super easy to switch out, and it works great! It's actually almost too sensitive, as every time I rip one in bed this thing starts beeping within 30 seconds.
