The leather is famous for its soft feel that is perfect for Handbags, shoes, garments, accessories, moccassins, and arts and crafts. Used this leather to recover two chairs which had damaged upholstery. Nice replacement for the damaged synthetic leather. There was a noticeable blemish on the piece I received, but it's real leather - there will almost always be some imperfections. As you can see in the photo, it looks good. Any flaws are due more to my ineptitude, than the quality of the material.

I purchased this leather once in turquoise and then again in black. It's good quality and not too many flaws. It's supposed to be 1/2 a hide. It was not as big as I had hoped but adequate for the price. It is a thinner leather and it is soft and pliable. This is great for making bags or wallets that need something thinner to keep down the seam thickness.

I covered two office chairs 🪑 but had to work around cuts and holes in the hide. Seems like second grade quality hide.

I am amazed and thrilled about the quality of this hide! Big size and only a tiny hole here or there - perfect for my car console refurbishment. The color is exactly what I need. One area of the hide is somewhat smoother / less grain than the other, but that is to be expected and that feature comes in handy for me. Very soft to the hand, but sturdy and pliable at the same time.I am delighted.One of my best Amazon purchases ever!

Beautiful piece of leather. No problem with minor blemishes that can be worked around. It is a natural skin so this is expected. Great product for the price. I will use it to reupholster a bed room chair.

Very nice leather. Like good quality biker leather. Soft and thick enough. Perfect for the seat on my harley. Thicker then my chaps. Thinner then my old school biker jacket. Hope this helps. Ride safe everyone.

I appreciate a real hide and this is real. It is very thin and has a hole or two here and there but with the price what can you expect? I would expect this is for the use of recovering which is exactly what I intend to do.It is not a throw for the floor or couch by any means. Again it is positively real leather and for the price you can’t beat it.Mine did not smell and it is super soft , the color is spot on what was said.I will order more.
