I bought this to allow me to switch certain loads in the house over to solar/generator as needed. I found the included manual a bit confusing as it’s appears to be written for several different panels. This panel will not work with AFCI breakers. Each wire other than green and white have small numbers on them that corresponds to the breaker on the panel. The red wire goes into the breaker in the house panel and the black wire wire-nuts to the load wire (the one you removed from the breaker). White goes to the neutral buss bar and ground (green) goes to the ground buss bar in the house panel. Rocker switches light up when on solar/generator power but are not lit when on house power.

Installing the panel was very easy to do following the instructions. Product worked great during a recent hurricane when I needed to keep a sub panel powered for the barn animals.

First of all I’m no electrician but this was super easy to install. Only problem is I wish I would’ve purchased the larger one knowing how wonderful it is. When you have it connected to your generator it lights up (the buttons) very quality product.

Had to use this during recent storm related power outage. Used with small 2000 watt generator. Worked like a champ. Conduit is pretty flexible. Lit switches are nice when using.

The way my panel was mounted, I was able to mount the transfer switch and punch through the side.I needed 16 x 110 so I did replace the 2 -240 V breakers with 4 x 110V breakers.I have tested with my generator but have not use it in an actual power outage.

I opened this up and wanted to upgrade the position 1 and 2 breaker to 20A for Refrigerators. Upon removing all the breakers, I saw that the 2nd bus wasn’t connected to any Generator connection lead. So I get the multi meter out, and lo and behold the two bus bars are not connected. Only the main that feeds 2, 4 and 6.Not sure how this is sold as a 6 circuit, when only 3 are wired.Waiting to hear from customer service on this, which is a manufacturing error I hope and I hope the fix for this doesn’t require a removal of the system. That would make me very very angry.

I wanted to purchase this unit as it looks like a good fit for my remote installation, however I communicated with them about getting spare circuit transfer switches so I would have them on hand but the do not sell them...So this makes me think they actually don't support there products with any replacement parts availability and if you've been doing generator transfer project for more than a year you know these type of small circuit transfer switches are the first thing to fail in a transfer box! If you don't get this type of part when you get the transfer box you probably won't get them later when they fail!

I'll start by saying that dealing with the seller was great. For some reason, FedEx delivered it to the post office rather than my house and didn't tell me and the seller was able to get this information for me after the fact. FedExs position was that I signed for it and it was delivered even though no one was home. Fedex literally picked a random po box to deliver it to rather than my house.The product itself:I waited to review it until the power went out. Installation was pretty straight forward. I had an easy path for the wires due to an empty J box under my breaker panel. I have it set up so I can run my kitchen refrigerator, my furnace, my garage freezer, and my TV off of my generator when the power goes out. My generator is only a 2200w that I typically only use for camping so the panel makes it easy to switch between each one. If you're looking for an effective way to use a small generator when your power goes out that doesn't involve dragging an extension cord into your house, this it it. My power is out right now and my fridge and freezer are cold, my house is warm, my TV is on, and my wife is happy. Highly recommend.
