I installed one of these to allow powering an emergency panel. I moved all the essential loads (AC, well pump, septic, refrigerators, lights) to a separate panel. The transfer switch allows me to power the emergency panel from a 12 kW generator without possibility of back-feeding to the grid. There are two relays that are mechanically interlocked. If one relay is energized, the other one is prevented from switching. My first one has been in continuous service for two years. I bought a second one to have as a spare.

Swapped for a unit damaged in a brown out. For better than the original it replaced. Only down vote is for the cross feed. Technically 50 amp rated, 10awg 105c cable. But then it's in contact with the service cable which isn't 105c.

Installed easily and worked great out of the box in my 50A RV. Only issue is that it smells like warm new electrical component for at least the first month. Also it buzzes when under load. Definitely suggest!

The KUTTOLE 50A transfer switch comes in a roomy box and everything looks heavy duty and well capable of handling the advertised rating. However, with no certifications, you'll only be using this on RVs or other installations without grid connections, and, of course, use at your own risk. It worked in a test bench setup but I did not run it to capacity. The ground is not isolated, so be sure that your generator will work with a bonded ground (this may trip generators with GFCI).

Didn’t work. Wouldnt transfer the load. Just would click. Bought another brand and it worked great.
