I have 3 of these now...The first one has been working reliably for ~4 months now and the other two I've had for ~2 months.They boys still have the option of using several other boxes, but they seem to prefer the Neakasas for some reason.They seem large, but the actual footprint isn't much different than the ancient automatic cleaners they replaced. The Neakasa M1 is relatively quiet and trouble free. The alerts that the app provides are useful and the tracking of use via weight is a nice addition.They didn't have the step stool when I purchased the box, so I just got a small aerobics step that fits perfectly, but it would be nice to have the litter collection function of the Neakasa step (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0DGT9R6R2).My only complaint would be that the low lip allows a lot of litter to be scattered out of the box (most collects on my step, so would be captured by the Neakasa version).The bags are clever and make it easy to remove the waste, but regular trash bags work fine as well.Some volume of the waste bin doesn't really get used because the waste tends to build up at the back of the bin and thus triggers the full sensor, but one can just give the bin a good shake to level it out if you want to get a couple more days before removing the waste. The room with 2 cats will get around 2 weeks of use (they do have 1 other box that they barely use now); the rest of the house with 2 Neakasa M1s and 5 cats gets a little over a week of use (with a few other boxes for them to use)Not sure that I would purchase at the current $600 price point, but they got me at $400.Edit: it seems best to let the box sit for a while after putting the silicone stickers around the edge of the litter pad -- the one I didn't let sit until the next day came loose after a few days of use. Since I have two boys who like to stand up while peeing, I actually sealed all of them with some 2 inch waterproof tape https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CJ268PK (there are probably cheaper tape options than the one at the link). I took the back off so that I could seal all around the pad -- there are just 6 screws to remove.

4.5 out of 5 so far - from 1 month of use, we will see about longevity.TL;DR, it's a great option, I prefer this over my old litter robot 3. There are some down sides but overall very minor. The unit works great and the kitty pinch protection works well too.Tips and tricks:1. Don't use light weight litters, they bounce too much and will make a bigger mess, go with low tracking regular weight litter light like the one shown in picture below, also avoid long grain litters.2. Somebody here mentioned in the review, wax the interior of the litter box periodically, especially the hard plastic surfaces, it will dramatically cut down on the chance of litter sticking to the wall during the flushing.3. Check the waste bin more often, shake it even out the pile, because the waste like to pile up in one spot.4. Buy the pedestal, it is well made and traps 85% of the stray litter.5. Test out how long it takes for the litter you use to clump, and configure the smart flush timer accordingly, for the litter I use, which is shown in pic below, I set it to 14 minutes.What I like:1. The unit is nice and quiet even in regular mode, so I have no problem with it flushing at night.2. Cat protection seems to be very well implemented, and I would even say it's overly cautious, which is great. I tested with my hand all the possible cat intrusions that I can think of during the flushing process, and it never fails to stop immediately. And I have on many occasions seen my cat interrupting the flushing process and the unit always stops. I feel very safe with my 5 month old (6lb) kitty using it, but it is still a good idea to disable the auto flush and use manual flush for younger cats.3. The built and construction is very nice, the plastic looks premium and the design is very easy on the eye, I would even say this is a better built unit than my old litter robot 3, at least from the outside.4. The rubber liner seems to be durable and doesn't stick as much, overall the set up is better than litter robot 3, which is very much prone to cat tearing up the rubber liner.5. App is actually reliable so far.6. Good value.What I don't like:1. The lip on the litter drum could be taller so that it would deflect more stray litter, a taller fence as factory accessory would be great.2. It's big, and won't fit in most of the enclosures that I can find.3. The included silicone sticker doesn't not stick to the rubber liner too well and starts to peel in the second week.4. I wish it comes in different color like white, grey shows dust very easily.

Works well and it’s spacious.However it does NOT work with tofu litter, only works well with normal litter like the stone or clay looking ones.

Nou had hiervoor zo een normale ronddraaiende automatische kattenbak. En deze had wel een aantal problemen waar ik tegen aan liep. Moeilijk te reinigen en heel veel werk. Hij lekte doordat mijn kat tegen de zijkant aan pist. Nu deze is echt wel veel beter. Veel minder onderhoud en extreem makkelijk schoon te maken. Vullen is 10 keer makkelijker. Plus dat bij deze ook de kattenbak vulling niet blijft plakken aan de bak zelf. Je hebt goed zicht op hoeveel vulling er nog in zit. Me kat is ook blij want hij past hier veel beter in zelf. Dus al met al ben ik echt super tevreden en mijn kat ook. Dus als je er een zoekt dan zeker deze kiezen want hij is zo veel beter dan anderen. Plus hij is nu door de korting ook zeker goed te betalen.

I waited a long time to get a robotic litter tray, there’s almost too many options and finding one that ticked all the boxes took a while. I’ve now had this around 3 weeks and am very happy with it.We have two cats, one took to it immediately and is solely using it, unfortunately our other got putrefied of it when he saw it move and hasn’t warmed to it yet but that’s not a fault of the product just a potential risk if you have nervous cats.With the one cat using it, bags seem to last just over a week and it’s very economical in litter use. It’s remained clean and smells have got locked away well.The app is easy to use and syncs whenever your on WiFi, it can tell you the time and weight of the cat on entry and how long they stayed , you can assign cats to weight however I do find it’s not incredibly accurate on weighing the cats and certainly if you have more than one cat that are anywhere close in weight it will never be able to tell them apart.You can set cleaning interval times, from a smart setting whereby it cleans x minutes after use or just cycling through every hour or whatever it maybe.It tells you on the app the litter capacity level which I find accurate, it also says waste bin level but I’ve yet to see that say anything other than “normal†despite it then being full after the next use so I would say again that’s not to be relied upon.Overall I couldn’t really say much negative about it other than the minor annoyances mentioned above. It looks smart, operates well and if you’re concerned about safety seems good as the way it spins when cleaning, even if it malfunctioned would give the cat time to leave but obviously it has safety features so it shouldn’t move when a cats inside anyway.

Die „Neakasa M1 ist ein absoluter Traum, nie wieder selber schaufeln ENDLICH.Hier meine Eindrücke aus der Nutzung:Design und Größe: Das XXL-Modell bietet ausreichend Platz für auch größere Katzen ich denke mal alles unter absoluten Riesen sollte mit der Toilette klarkommen. Die offene Oberseite erleichterten Zugang unser Kater geht nämlich nicht in geschlossene Toiletten. Durch die große Fassungsvermögen wird das häufige Reinigen reduziert, was für Vielkatzenhaushalte besonders praktisch ist.Selbstreinigung: Funktioniert zuverlässig und entfernt den Katzenkot automatisch nach jeder Benutzung oder kann durch einen Timer eingestellt werden was die Reinigung erheblich erleichtert. Das spart nicht nur Zeit, sondern sorgt auch für eine stets saubere Toilette.Hygiene und Geruchskontrolle: Die Katzentoilette bietet eine sehr gute Geruchsbindung, was besonders wichtig ist, wenn man mehrere Katzen hat. Das Design der Toilette verhindert, dass unangenehme Gerüche entweichen, sieht sauber aus und riecht auch so.App-Steuerung: Man kann den Reinigungsprozess überwachen und auch steuern. Das ist besonders praktisch, um den Zustand der Katzentoilette im Auge zu behalten, ohne ständig nachsehen zu müssen. Besonders in Haushalten mit mehreren Katzen macht sie das Leben deutlich einfacher. What is good about this is the wide area for my cat to enter.. Only need to change the bag every two weeks. I do however add baking soda into the waste bin often. I’ve had it for months and love it for making my life easier. Also the Singapore dealer is highly knowledgeable and supportive.Only thing is the warranty in Singapore is a year but in the UK it’s two years. The discrepancy I don’t understand..
