I purchased four different brands of needle files sets. I have attached comparison photos and hope they will help someone. It’s been time consuming locating a set of affordable needle files that were like my 20+ year old set. The smaller file sets in the pictures will come in handy for something but I feel the larger needle files are a better all around small file, they won’t snap in half as easily as the one in the pic did.Sure hope this will help someone. I went down the rabbit hole shopping for these. So far I’m loving the DIFFLIFE set. Whoever designed them read my mind, It just took me so time and headache finding them. THANKS DIFFLIFE! âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸

This is a well made set and is good for a lot of applications. I needed them to try to sharpen a 3 1/2 inch, 80 tooth saw blade and I found that the files were too course for such tiny teeth. I will keep the set but will order some thinner diamond files.

Well packaged in their travel case. Files have a great easy grip handle and work really well.

I would prefer a non-bastard cut, but it still cuts 3 or 4 times better than what I had. I'm using it on sawed steel blanks at work that were cut too aggressively and tossed in the box.

I bought these to carve peach pits, which are fairly hard wood - but after only a few days of fairly heavy use by me and 2 of my kids, the edges of a few of the files have worn down and are no longer abrasive. I expect that when buying something that says it can be used for metal and wood, that includes hard wood, and relatively heavy use. Also, the hand of one is slightly detached after putting too much torque on it, which to be fair isn't how it's meant to be used.Next time I probably need to get a higher-carbon steel file.
